Harvesting seems continuous!

Timelines: Moringa grows in central Florida pretty much year round.  September and October this year was a bit rough with hurricanes Helene and the Milton.  The trees were cut back in October and now, in November, there is an abundance of new growth!   I usually harvest and strip the leaves from the stems over the weekend.  They are put on screens to dry in a climate controlled room.  It takes about 4 days to dry (I do not use any heat, just good circulating air-flow).  Then I grind the leaves down a little to make looseleaf which can be used as a tea or addition to your cooking.  If I need powder, I simply grind it further by putting it in a blender!

So, a harvest cycle takes a full week of work.

And then I do it all over again next week!
